Season 1 Episode 7

My phone was boofin last week, so if you didn't get my email, I apologize. It was Sister Freis birthday this monday the freis are our senior missionaries btw, so we all went over there and threw her a little party. We got some grub with our district and the Hermanas, then went to the ysa activity, and we figured out Elder Stolle is an artist

There were soooo many stopbys this week it was crazy 90% of the time. They didn't answer or slammed the door in our face, but with that 10%, we met some awesome people! On Wednesday, we had dinner with the Freis, and they gave us and the Elders a loaf of Granadma Sycamores bread cause they dont sell it out here in Texas, and we all miss it.

We had interviews this week which is where all the missionarys in the zone go to the mission office and President Ord has a one on one interview with you, we were there 11-3 but its ok my district all got McDonald's kidsmeals for lunch cause they had Pokémon cards in them! 

I bought some cat treats, so now when we knock sketchy areas, we'll have like 7 stray cats following us, and nobody will mess with us

We had some sketch encounters this week, but that's just life in GP (I really need to buy pepper spray). Im making a podcast, and I can tell it's gonna be a big hit All I do is talk to myself about random stuff for 30 minutes, and every once in a while, Sister DeLara will chime in. I was super sicky sunday, which was lame if I wasn't sleeping, I was throwing up

This was a very slow week overall but im grateful for the work we were able to do we had 2 funerals this week so both those days we were at the church most of the day helping setup and takedown everything. Sorry for the lame email. I'll try to have a more hype week. Im also giving my first training this week, and im so nervous, so #prayforme

Spiritual thought: Proverbs 3: 5-6 "lean not unto thine own understanding" that line really stands out to me whenever I read those verses, its so easy to think we understand everything so when something doesnt make sence or something happens differently then how we wanted it to it can be really frustrating, this is something I know ive always had a hard time with so ive had to learn how to step back and forget my own understanding and lean unto his understanding and im gonna be honest its still a struggle but it gets easier and the blessings that come from trusting him and his understanding have been great.

As the only sisters in the district we gotta keep the elders fed(first 2 pictures)

Hello Hello everyone! This is probably gonna be a short one cause not too much happened this week. Training is going well, we have a ton of fun and just have a good time. We had a few lessons this week I had to give a training on the Word of Wisdom and I usually hate giving trainings but this one went over pretty well.  We're still working on figuring out the 2 wards but it's going pretty well so far, lots and lots of member stop bys. This new area gets more media referrals so we do soke stop bys for them as well and those always include some interesting conversations, some dude told us about his adult diaper for 20 minutes.  Some other dude bashed us for a bit and I kept on trying to bare my testimony and walk away but he kept interrupting me and saying "hit the trails" but wouldn't let us leave? Season 1 Episode 17

Guys, I swear I do stuff I just can never remember by the end of the week. Me and Sister Lewis and I have started going to the church for our morning workout to practice basketball and volleyball cause neither of us is very good on Monday we played for 4 hours throughout the day  We did a lot of service this week. I love service, but man, oh man, are we busy. We got to go to the dump, do a butt ton of yard work, install a door knob on a veryyyy broken door, and then helped with a relief society activity  One of my transfer goals is to get big strong arms, and Sister Garcia called me strong, so consider that goal freaking checked, bro We had a lesson with King Keithon and he called Sister Lewis the funny one and me the serious one, idk bout that one man Sister Lewis is hilarious but I wouldn't necessarily consider myself the serious one by the end of the lesson he said he had me figured out so I asked him what that was and he tells me "you're the boss baby, ya know that one...

Season 2 Episode 5

As of today I've been a missionary for 6 months which is crazy!!!! My mission is by far the best thing I've ever done and I've still got another year so I'm excited to see just how much more amazing it'll get. Don't get me wrong missions are super hard and I'm exhausted 90% of the time but I'm having a good time 100% of the time. This week was so good! Last Monday we did a quad pday with the Hermanas we live with and we spent the day in Frisco and went shopping! We had some dope lessons this week. On Saturday I got to go down to Grand Prairie for Blancas baptism and it was so good! It was so fun to see her and everyone else and I just love baptisms!
