Season 1 Episode 14

Welcome back to another week of I can't remember what I did 

 This week we ran into a super cool dude who made this one speaker thing that automatically reads you the Bible every morning and we introduced the Book of Mormon to him and he was super interested and said he's gonna read it and put it into his speaker thing. He then came to church on Sunday, we asked him how we liked it, and he then proceeded to tell us we were Anglican and when we tried to explain that we weren't he just kinda left, but we set up a lesson for later this week so idk man 

DINOOOOO FEST! There was this huge event where there were dinosaurs and so many people walking around aka perfect finding opportunity.

- interviews with President Ord, aka being at the mission office for 5 hours 
- exchange with Sister Letham
- got texas roadhouse rolls 
-  went to the pippins and got cookies
- Target and Walmart shenanigans 
- me and Sister Lewis still really want a couch
- got to see the pippins!!!
- i hate volleyball 
- happy redhead day 

Spiritual thought: opposition in all things Mathaias Held 

"Now, there is one additional principle that is especially important. Lehi said that there “must needs be … an opposition in all things.” This means that opposites don’t exist apart from each other. They can even complement each other. We would not be able to identify joy unless we had also experienced sorrow at some point. Feeling hungry at times helps us to be especially grateful when we do have enough to eat again. We would not be able to identify truth unless we had also seen lies here and there."

Opposition is everywhere in this world and its hard to see but opposition can lead to greatness if you dont lose sight of Christ.

Hello Hello everyone! This is probably gonna be a short one cause not too much happened this week. Training is going well, we have a ton of fun and just have a good time. We had a few lessons this week I had to give a training on the Word of Wisdom and I usually hate giving trainings but this one went over pretty well.  We're still working on figuring out the 2 wards but it's going pretty well so far, lots and lots of member stop bys. This new area gets more media referrals so we do soke stop bys for them as well and those always include some interesting conversations, some dude told us about his adult diaper for 20 minutes.  Some other dude bashed us for a bit and I kept on trying to bare my testimony and walk away but he kept interrupting me and saying "hit the trails" but wouldn't let us leave? Season 1 Episode 17

Guys, I swear I do stuff I just can never remember by the end of the week. Me and Sister Lewis and I have started going to the church for our morning workout to practice basketball and volleyball cause neither of us is very good on Monday we played for 4 hours throughout the day  We did a lot of service this week. I love service, but man, oh man, are we busy. We got to go to the dump, do a butt ton of yard work, install a door knob on a veryyyy broken door, and then helped with a relief society activity  One of my transfer goals is to get big strong arms, and Sister Garcia called me strong, so consider that goal freaking checked, bro We had a lesson with King Keithon and he called Sister Lewis the funny one and me the serious one, idk bout that one man Sister Lewis is hilarious but I wouldn't necessarily consider myself the serious one by the end of the lesson he said he had me figured out so I asked him what that was and he tells me "you're the boss baby, ya know that one...

Season 2 Episode 5

As of today I've been a missionary for 6 months which is crazy!!!! My mission is by far the best thing I've ever done and I've still got another year so I'm excited to see just how much more amazing it'll get. Don't get me wrong missions are super hard and I'm exhausted 90% of the time but I'm having a good time 100% of the time. This week was so good! Last Monday we did a quad pday with the Hermanas we live with and we spent the day in Frisco and went shopping! We had some dope lessons this week. On Saturday I got to go down to Grand Prairie for Blancas baptism and it was so good! It was so fun to see her and everyone else and I just love baptisms!
