Life in Pilot Knob is swell, so let's get into it

I've decided I'm gonna make a parody to the Phineas and Ferb song. we are the moms, but it's gonna be called "we in the knob" or something like that. 

The work here is picking up, and this area actually has so much potential! I'm so excited to see how this area is going to change in the next few months. By the time I'm done with Pilot Knob people are gonna be begging to come here

We stopped by so many part member families this week and had some really good lessons with them, we got 2 missionary referrals this week, and both of them are so cool!! They're both really interesting cause they've been taught all the lessons but haven't been baptized so I'm excited to see if I can give them a new perspective and help make that first covenant with God #coolkidsmakecovenants

I got to go down to GP this week for Ayriss's baptism! It was so good to see her and all my other GP people, and I GOT TO SEE SISTER LEWIS, It was so good to see her it was like a grounding moment and just what I needed. 

Texas rain storms are like none other they're crazy! 

Other cool things 
- held 2 really big toads 
- saved a turtle from almost being run over 
- played zone charades but acted out people from the zone 
- hype up zone council 
- pretty drives 
- held a lizard, and its tail fell off in my hand 
- had a quad sleepover in the living room cause of the storm 
- got to see Lewis (this deserves 2 shoutouts it was the highlight of my week)


Spiritual thought: Mark 12: 32-33
"32 And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he: 
33 And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices."

This week, I was studying sacrafice and the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Jesus christ gave the biggest sacrifice that has ever happened and there is no way to ever fully repay him but he doesn't ask for us to repay him, he asks for us to love him and love those around us the way he would.

Hello Hello everyone! This is probably gonna be a short one cause not too much happened this week. Training is going well, we have a ton of fun and just have a good time. We had a few lessons this week I had to give a training on the Word of Wisdom and I usually hate giving trainings but this one went over pretty well.  We're still working on figuring out the 2 wards but it's going pretty well so far, lots and lots of member stop bys. This new area gets more media referrals so we do soke stop bys for them as well and those always include some interesting conversations, some dude told us about his adult diaper for 20 minutes.  Some other dude bashed us for a bit and I kept on trying to bare my testimony and walk away but he kept interrupting me and saying "hit the trails" but wouldn't let us leave? Season 1 Episode 17

Guys, I swear I do stuff I just can never remember by the end of the week. Me and Sister Lewis and I have started going to the church for our morning workout to practice basketball and volleyball cause neither of us is very good on Monday we played for 4 hours throughout the day  We did a lot of service this week. I love service, but man, oh man, are we busy. We got to go to the dump, do a butt ton of yard work, install a door knob on a veryyyy broken door, and then helped with a relief society activity  One of my transfer goals is to get big strong arms, and Sister Garcia called me strong, so consider that goal freaking checked, bro We had a lesson with King Keithon and he called Sister Lewis the funny one and me the serious one, idk bout that one man Sister Lewis is hilarious but I wouldn't necessarily consider myself the serious one by the end of the lesson he said he had me figured out so I asked him what that was and he tells me "you're the boss baby, ya know that one...

Season 2 Episode 5

As of today I've been a missionary for 6 months which is crazy!!!! My mission is by far the best thing I've ever done and I've still got another year so I'm excited to see just how much more amazing it'll get. Don't get me wrong missions are super hard and I'm exhausted 90% of the time but I'm having a good time 100% of the time. This week was so good! Last Monday we did a quad pday with the Hermanas we live with and we spent the day in Frisco and went shopping! We had some dope lessons this week. On Saturday I got to go down to Grand Prairie for Blancas baptism and it was so good! It was so fun to see her and everyone else and I just love baptisms!
