Season 2 Episode 6

This week was such a good one! We had a sisters conference so all the sisters in the mission got together and we learned how to make bread, we did crafts, had a few devotionals, and then did zumba! 

We had a few lessons this week which was so good! We did lots of member stop bys. My crocheting is still going good, I'm currently working on mastering the granny square. One of the youth in our ward invited us over and asked us a whole list of questions about missions cause it's something she's considering right now. 

Sister Stuart is finishing her mission and going home which is so so sad but it's taught me a lot and I loved being with her for her last transfer. It showed me how much of an impact we make out here, this last week we had lots of people from her old areas come visit her and it was cool to see the impact she made on these people. I can also say I am the furthest thing from trunky seeing Sister Stuart go through all the emotions this last transfer I think I'm good to stay here for a while. 

I'm very excited and nervous for this next transfer because I'm going to be training! I'm excited to see how it's going to push me but I don't wanna mess up my kid so send prayers my way

Spiritual thought: Alma 41: 10-11
"10 Do not suppose, because it has been spoken concerning restoration, that ye shall be restored from sin to happiness. Behold, I say unto you, wickedness never was happiness. 11 And now, my son, all men that are in a state of nature, or I would say, in a carnal state, are in the gall of bitterness and in the bonds of iniquity; they are without God in the world, and they have gone contrary to the nature of God; therefore, they are in a state contrary to the nature of happiness" 

Whenever I read these scriptures they stand out to me because it's so easy to get caught up in the things of the world cause they're fun and bring happiness in the moment but long lasting happiness comes from God and aligning ourselves with him.

Hello Hello everyone! This is probably gonna be a short one cause not too much happened this week. Training is going well, we have a ton of fun and just have a good time. We had a few lessons this week I had to give a training on the Word of Wisdom and I usually hate giving trainings but this one went over pretty well.  We're still working on figuring out the 2 wards but it's going pretty well so far, lots and lots of member stop bys. This new area gets more media referrals so we do soke stop bys for them as well and those always include some interesting conversations, some dude told us about his adult diaper for 20 minutes.  Some other dude bashed us for a bit and I kept on trying to bare my testimony and walk away but he kept interrupting me and saying "hit the trails" but wouldn't let us leave? Season 1 Episode 17

Guys, I swear I do stuff I just can never remember by the end of the week. Me and Sister Lewis and I have started going to the church for our morning workout to practice basketball and volleyball cause neither of us is very good on Monday we played for 4 hours throughout the day  We did a lot of service this week. I love service, but man, oh man, are we busy. We got to go to the dump, do a butt ton of yard work, install a door knob on a veryyyy broken door, and then helped with a relief society activity  One of my transfer goals is to get big strong arms, and Sister Garcia called me strong, so consider that goal freaking checked, bro We had a lesson with King Keithon and he called Sister Lewis the funny one and me the serious one, idk bout that one man Sister Lewis is hilarious but I wouldn't necessarily consider myself the serious one by the end of the lesson he said he had me figured out so I asked him what that was and he tells me "you're the boss baby, ya know that one...

Season 2 Episode 5

As of today I've been a missionary for 6 months which is crazy!!!! My mission is by far the best thing I've ever done and I've still got another year so I'm excited to see just how much more amazing it'll get. Don't get me wrong missions are super hard and I'm exhausted 90% of the time but I'm having a good time 100% of the time. This week was so good! Last Monday we did a quad pday with the Hermanas we live with and we spent the day in Frisco and went shopping! We had some dope lessons this week. On Saturday I got to go down to Grand Prairie for Blancas baptism and it was so good! It was so fun to see her and everyone else and I just love baptisms!
